Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox went to the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox decided to change her profession when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience and lack of talent contrast to other Royal Academy students. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. The band did not get to compete in the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She sang lead for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut record Diva. The album was released in 1993. It was a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo that was released in October 2014 included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favorite blues and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. The album is a companion of her "Now I let the door open... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independent album.
